I am the key person!

On the last day of training we could summarize with my father-in-law, one point appealed to me very much. First he talked about one of the greatest “weapons” of the devil – the weapon of distraction! Distraction has never been so great as it is right now in our time. Starting with television, all the cell phones, sex, drugs, alcohol, partying, stimulants, all the over-the-top entertainment, music, sports, games, pleasure – all enemy tactics to distract. But what exactly is the devil distracting from? Dad summed it up like this: “…The sum and the aim of all distractions of the devil is first of all to distract you from YOURSELF. Distraction from who YOU are IN GOD, what YOUR calling is, what YOUR potentials are. That is the point. So not just from God and His Word.” The greatest danger for the devil is when I recognize God in me and put myself in the right position. Namely, in the following: “You must understand YOURSELF as the key person for the completion of the history of the world and the destiny of the world. YOU as the key person must discover yourself…” To that end, I had a little experience that spoke to me. A few days ago, I drove by the scrap iron dealer and saw a rain barrel lying around. Just the kind I was looking for. Without further ado, I parked my car in front of the office building and walked straight to the barrel to take a closer look. I immediately went back and reported to the office to ask for the price. Instead of a friendly greeting as usual, the lady unceremoniously confronted me in front of everyone present: What was I thinking, without even checking in briefly and without asking her permission, I just went and looked around the premises myself! That is not allowed at all …! I was just a bit taken by surprise and apologized profusely. I had already been there often at this scrap iron dealer and from my point of view there were only big mountains of waste and scrap around on the area. What had motivated her to reprimand me so strongly for this, in my eyes, clearly a small “trifle”? Somewhat agitated, I drove home. Suddenly, the situation became a revelation to me. I saw that the lady was not just a “simple servant”, or employee who was just doing her job. No, this woman saw this property as her property and herself as a “key person” of this company! She takes over full responsibility and is therefore very careful that nothing happens which is not accordig to her agreement! This spoke to me, because I noticed that I often quickly see myself as a bit of a “small employee” on this earth, who simply does his “tasks” faithfully. But, I can recognize myself, – just like the woman at the scrap iron company – as a key figure in everything and for everyone ! I must not wait until I am “called” or think “that I cannot do this” or it is “not my part”. I may have the awareness in everything that I am also a “key person”, without which nothing works and can take full responsibility in what I encounter. So this word has really become a revelation to me and I have started to live even more consciously as a key person in everything.

For example, I totally got the request for the AZK event that we did online. Normally, I’m not that involved in online events. But with the awareness that I was a key person, impulses suddenly rose up in me for the new studio. I plugged into the meetings, gave my impulses, and was able to be a support in things that were overwhelming others, for example, in the whole personnel management, etc. I was able to help out again and again in problems and specialist areas in which I normally didn’t have much of a clue. It was a total pleasure and a lot of fun! Unbelievable that the last events I was simply there as a “spectator”, solely because I had not seen myself as a key person and had listened to the distraction that told me: “This is not your part, you already have a lot otherwise, the others can do it better, etc.” Don’t let yourself be distracted anymore by what you are in God and recognize yourself as the key for your environment, where you are, in your situation, in which you are standing right now!
