spoken, with a gas tank within us nor with a means of storage like a rechargeable battery. But that’s exactly what we would like to have because then we could act as gods in an absolutely autonomous way. But in this case God would be for us exactly that which the devil has tried to make out of Him from the very beginning – an everlasting, abundant and fully neutral energy supply, which you could tap freely and abuse without having to give any account. But like a wall socket connects its electrical appliance with a power cable, so God is connecting us to Himself through Jesus Christ, as He has said in John 15:5-6: “I am the vine, you are the branches; He who abides in Me, and I in Him, He bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.
